I have a question…

(Please be advised that Mentormatch Toronto or any of its staff members will not be held responsible for the accuracy of the advice given or the consequences that follow from adhering to the advice given)

Below you will find links to the sections that I have made by asking questions and saving the answers that I have received and I grouped them into the many sections.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask, there are two options that are available.

Option 1: Please visit our facebook group titled Mentormatch Toronto, go to discussion board topics, click on Questions and post your questions there.

Option 2: Go to one of the links below and click on reply or new topic. However, once you click on the links below you will be taken to a new discussion board and that website does not allow you to reply or post new topics unless you register and log in. So if you would like to post your questions in that section you would need to register, and log in. The registration link should be near the top of the page.

  1. Advice I received and want to pass on:

Some really good advice I was given was to read the books:
The Power of Focus (its about changing habits and making habits)
Never be Alone (Its about helping us to strategically meet and network with people)

I was told that its what you know to the power of who you know, and he also told me that who you know can help you get in a position, but what you know is what will help you be successful.

To improve speech and public speaking, he suggested Toast Masters and reading certain books and told me about setting goals and sent me an amazing spreadsheet goal setting template if you’ are interested in getting it, email mentormatch_t@hotmail.com and suggested reading each day ( he reads 1 hour a day) reading is helpful in helping us develop vocab he also said.
